Driver Bio
Bruce lives and works on a farm in the Scottish Borders near Galashiels, where life revolves around the countryside and family. When he’s not behind the wheel, Bruce enjoys shooting, fishing and rugby, as well as spending time watching his daughters play hockey.
Bruce’s passion for cars began with his first road car — a Lotus Sunbeam — which he owned in 2010 and which firmly cemented his love of performance machinery. His favourite circuit is Donington Park, a track he enjoys for its flowing layout and classic racing character.
His racing inspiration comes from fellow Scot and farming legend Jim Clark — a true icon of the sport whose talent behind the wheel remains the benchmark for generations of drivers.
Bruce’s car is prepared and run by Maple House Classic Cars, ensuring it is always presented and maintained to the highest standards.
And when it comes to race day snacks, Bruce’s favourite biscuits are Ginger Border Biscuits from Lanark — a proper Scottish classic.
