Driver Bio

Harvey began his racing career in 2023, aged just 20, after being offered the opportunity to race a 260 Shelby Cobra at the Silverstone Festival by a friend of Paddock Speedshop. What followed was a rapid and demanding introduction to competitive motorsport. With ambitions to race at Silverstone, the team borrowed a sponsor’s Citroën C1 and had just ten weeks to help Harvey progress from novice to National-level licence, competing in the Nankang City Car Cup.

Ahead of Silverstone, Harvey completed just one race in the Cobra — his first outing with Equipe — at a rain-soaked Oulton Park, providing a true test of skill and composure early in his career.

While 2024 didn’t unfold as planned, Harvey returned with renewed focus in 2025, this time behind the wheel of the Paddock Speedshop Marcos 1800GT. The season was spent developing both driver and car, learning its characteristics, refining performance, and building consistency. With that groundwork complete, Harvey and the team now head into the new season fully prepared to campaign the championship in the Marcos, with the car’s new livery set to be unveiled at Race Retro.

Harvey’s favourite circuit raced to date is Oulton Park, a track he loves for its narrow, twisting layout, dramatic elevation changes, and the unforgettable banking at Turn 4.

When it comes to inspiration, Harvey cites Ken Block. Although his own focus has always been on circuit racing rather than rallying, watching Block’s videos on the way to school left a lasting impression — particularly his ability to place a car with absolute precision. Harvey describes Block as an incredible figure in motorsport and a true inspiration, taken far too soon, and is proud to see Lia Block continuing that legacy.

Away from the circuit, Harvey’s biscuit loyalty is fiercely contested — a McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestive just edges it, with a Hobnob running a close second, narrowly missing out for being a little too messy.
