David began his racing career in 2018, making his competitive debut in a 1966 MGB. Since then, his passion for historic and classic racing has continued to grow, shaped by a love of engaging, driver-focused machinery.

Among all the cars he has raced, David’s favourite is his Marcos 1800GT, which was meticulously restored and race-prepared by TTP Performance. The car perfectly reflects his appreciation for characterful engineering and rewarding driving experiences.

When it comes to circuits, David’s number one choice is Circuit de Spa‑Francorchamps, a track he values for its scale, history, and technical challenge. In the UK, his favourite place to race is Cadwell Park, often described as Britain’s most demanding and rewarding circuit.

David finds inspiration watching Rob Huff race anything at Goodwood Circuit, where commitment, precision, and respect for historic machinery are always on display.

Away from the paddock, David’s tastes are refreshingly specific — his favourite biscuit is the yellow and pink party ring, proving that race drivers aren’t immune to a bit of nostalgia.
