Chris began his racing career in the mid-1980s, making his debut in Formula Ford. Since then, he has enjoyed a varied and accomplished career, competing across a wide spectrum of categories. His experience includes racing VW Beetles, Ginettas, a spell in the BTCC in 2003, as well as GT cars such as TVR, Jaguar XKR, and Marcos machinery.

In more recent years, Chris has focused on historic racing, competing at some of Europe’s most iconic venues, including the Spa-Francorchamps Six Hours, Le Mans, Goodwood, and, of course, events with Equipe.

Among the many cars Chris has raced, his standout favourite remains John Yea’s Austin A40, a car remembered fondly for its character and sheer enjoyment behind the wheel. His favourite circuit is Donington Park (National layout), valued for its flow and raceability.

Away from the track, Chris’s biscuit of choice is Walkers shortbread.
